HGSA Ten in Ten

HGSA has launched a fundraising Ten in Ten initiative with the goal of raising £10,000 during 2010.

If you have visited the Club recently you will have noticed that we have made a number of improvements to the fabric of the main bar and changing rooms. You will also have noticed that the work is

unfinished and there is more to do.

Our intention is to complete the planned improvements over the course of the next year and also to undertake some additional capital projects to further improve the look and feel of the club. These improvements will benefit all members of the Club, whether they are purely social or affiliated through one of the sections and they will of course require significant funds. The improvements we intend to fund through Ten in Ten include the following:

  • A new children’s playground Redecoration of the main bar and clubhouse Improvements to the Audio Visual systems in time for the World Cup Resurfacing of the car park New fencing along the side of the car park Additional fencing to comply with the requirements of the FA pitch report Refurbishment or replacement of the main bar seating and tables
  • Further improvements to the Changing Rooms

To finance the projects, we intend to embark on an intensive fund raising drive. The aim will be to raise £10,000 in 2010 (hence 10 in 10).

The initial fund raising initiatives have now been completed, namely, A Grand National Draw and a Race Night. Please click on the following link to find details of these initiatives and a full listing of the results: GRAND NATIONAL DRAW RESULTS (click link for details)
